Privacy policy
What we collect through this website, why, and how to have it corrected or removed.
Last updated 5 September 2026
We collect only what we need to quote for your transport or to run the trip you booked. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. There are no tracking or advertising cookies on this site.
What we collect, and when
Nothing is collected until you submit one of the two forms on this site. Browsing the site collects no personal data.
When you ask for a quote
Your company name, plant or office location, the number of employees to transport, your shift timings, and one contact — either a phone number or an email address.
When you book a cab
Your name, company, email and WhatsApp number; the name and phone number of each rider; pickup and drop addresses, and the map coordinates if you pin them; the dates, times and vehicle preference for the hire.
Why we hold it
- To prepare a route plan and a price, and to reply to you.
- To assign a vehicle and driver, and to give the driver the pickup details for your trip.
- To raise the duty slip and the invoice for the journey, which we are required to keep as a business record.
Rider names and phone numbers reach the assigned driver so they can find the right passenger. A driver sees the trip they are running and nothing else — not your commercial terms, and not other customers.
Who else sees it
Four processors, and no one else. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
- Vercel hosts this website and runs the two form endpoints.
- Resend delivers the confirmation and enquiry emails.
- Supabase stores the booking and duty-slip records behind our internal fleet system, hosted in the Mumbai (ap-south-1) region.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Limited delivers our WhatsApp service messages (see below).
If you pin a location on the map, the map tiles and the address lookup are served by OpenStreetMap and CARTO. Your pin is sent to their address-lookup service to turn coordinates into an address.
WhatsApp and Meta
When we send you a service message on WhatsApp — a booking confirmation, a trip update, or a one-time passcode — your phone number and the text of that message are transmitted to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, which operates the WhatsApp Business Platform, so that the message can be delivered. Meta processes this data under its own business data processing terms. We send service messages only to a number you have given us for that purpose, and never marketing. You can stop them at any time by writing to admin@sayalitranslink.com; the terms of service say the same.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries stay in the office mailbox while the enquiry is open and for as long as needed to answer it. Booking and duty-slip records are kept as accounting records for the period required by Indian tax and company law. The exact retention period for booking records is being confirmed and will be stated here.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and carries no analytics, advertising or social tracking scripts. Fonts are served from this website itself. The booking map loads tiles from CARTO, which sees your IP address as part of serving the request, as any server does.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — except where we are required by law to keep a record of a completed journey and its invoice. Write to admin@sayalitranslink.com and we will respond within 30 days.
